Our Story
Hi! We are Quincy & Meri Pope- dedicated owners, founders, and operators of The Barn at 839. Together, we have four wonderful children; Trey, Autumn, Quinton, and Aubrey (Dillon) plus 2 beautiful granddaughters; Chandler Grace and Blakely Rose. We are blessed and thankful indeed!
Our journey began when we were searching for the perfect home and came upon County Road 839. We fell in love with the property. As a bonus, we were blessed with much more than we were looking for. That’s where The Barn at 839 came from. We like to call it “THE EXTRA.” After 2+ years of construction, we had created this unique blend of rustic charm and modern elegance situated in the trees along the border of the Talladega National Forest. We officially opened our doors to our first couple in October of 2022! Since then, we have enjoyed hosting all of your special events. We take pride in offering our clients a memorable experience tailored to their unique needs and preferences.
